Carson was my constant companion for nearly 13 years whether as my couch buddy or underneath my feet. He didn’t ask for much but gave multitudes. As I watched him age I knew his last chapter was nearly written. The day his eyes told me he was finished with that chapter was devastating but I loved him too much to make him start another.
