He was a confidant, compassionate, smart, brave, funny, and a loyal friend.

He was a confidant, compassionate, smart, brave, funny, and a loyal friend. My ferrets taught me what true devotion is and Odin is the Professor of the School of Love. His kisses will be missed but he will never be forgotten. He will forever be my Blue Eyed Prince.  Love Alicia

We were blessed to discover an affectionate and silly dog with passions for fluffy squeak toys and belly rubs.

Aleah was several years old when we adopted her from a shelter; her coat and teeth suggested a history of neglect.  She would never know neglect again.  We were blessed to discover an affectionate and silly dog with passions for fluffy squeak toys and belly rubs.  We brought out the best in one another.  Six years later, when cancer and liver failure could be fought no more, Aleah was quietly put to sleep at our home, with as much love as any dog ever knew.  We still love you, sweet girl.  Dave and Kit

Olive lived a big little life, and will be forever missed...

My Olive….this wonderful heartbeat at my feet earned her wings on 1-31-2011.  There are not enough words to express the love I had for my ‘sweet chops’.  Her arrival at 8 weeks old began 11 blessed years together.  Olive lived a big little life, and will be forever missed by her momma Wendy.

He brought us joy, love and all we could want, after our kitty of 18yrs (Barney) had to leave us Christmas morning.

Chauncy– He came into our lives when he was 7 months old and had to leave us because of a terrible kitty disease.  He was with us for 3 wonderful months.  He brought us joy, love and all we could want, after our kitty of 18yrs (Barney) had to leave us Christmas morning.  We think of him every day and night.  We will love and miss him, till we all meet again somewhere, someday.  Love You Chauncy–Thank God for Peaceful Pets.

She was that little ray of sunshine that brought a shine to people's eyes.

Sophie came to us in a special way.  She was a special needs dog who arrived from Kansas on New Years Eve 2003.  She was 4 months old.  Her stomach was turned the opposite way, she had a hiatal hernia, and she needed a surgery to keep her alive. Within 3 weeks she had the surgery and was able to start making a new life. She was not able to play at that time and had to spend her time in a play pen so she wouldn’t undo the surgery. Three weeks later, her bowel pinched off and as our vets describe her, she’s a miracle dog who shouldn’t be alive, but again her will to live brought her through and she lived a good life until last year when her surgeries needed to be redone. Through it all she has remained that sweet, lovable little girl we loved. She believed her tail was 12 inches long and she thought it was always wagging. She was that little ray of sunshine that brought a shine to people’s eyes. We were thankful that she was our girl for 8 years. She will always be in our hearts. Carol and Ted Joyce

He was a real trooper...He was my little Munch Man!

Munchkin came into my life in November of 1996 at 6 months of age.  Sadly on October 14, 2011 Munchkin crossed over to Rainbows Bridge at the age of 15.  Throughout his 15 years with me he has resided in 2 different homes and lived with a total of 6 canine brothers.  He always enjoyed being outside whether it was by himself or with his brothers.  He learned through careful observation of his brothers the art of jumping out of the dog door which he usually waited to do when mom wasn’t looking.  RIP MUNCHKIN  WE LOVE YOU

Munchkin

He taught us to be more patient, more playful, and more humble as people.

Was certainly a unique dog with the most wonderful spirit in the world.  He was my first dog, and our first dog together.  In the thirteen years he spent with us he taught us to be more patient, more playful, and more humble as people.

He followed me around like a shadow.

We don’t know where or exactly when Junior was born. He entered our life when he was 10 yrs. Old. We bought him for my mother who had lost her Spooky 4 months after we lost our father. She had him for 2 yrs. Then she had to go into a memory center. I took Junior. We were told he had been abused. There were no outward marks but mentally you could tell. He followed me around like a shadow. Loud noises made him shiver so much that his teeth would chatter. We got him a thunder shirt, which helped a little. We made sure Junior had the best life, he went to Cudahy’s’ doggie park, to 4th of July parades, for hundreds of car rides, even camping. He got to sleep on the air mattress with us. It thundered that time and we had a vibrating air mattress. We were always there to comfort him. He was so good to us. If he messed in the house you could tell he was sorry, but never a harsh word. We would just say that’s OK Junior; you’re just an old dog. He would never go up or down steps. I figured he was either kicked down or thrown down them. One time there was a bad storm and they told us to get in the basement. I put his leash on and was ready to carry him down when there was a loud clap of thunder and off he went down the steps. It took my 2 yr. old grandson and a special doggie cookie to get him up the stairs where we were watching a movie. We loved him and are so lost without him. I know my mom asked God to have him in heaven with her. My mom passed Feb. 1, 2012 and Junior passed Feb. 22, 2012. He would have been 15.

Love you Junior

Their service has always been excellent.

I have been a client of MCS for 15 years. Their service has always been excellent. They are compassionate with clients in times of severe stress, prompt with their pickups, and return ashes very quickly. They are always pleasant to deal with on the phone and in person. They are a 1st class business and I appreciate the service they have provided to me over the years.

I would recommend MCS to anyone who is looking for a professional and caring cremation service.

I have used Midwest Cremation Service since I purchased Animal Hospital of Sun Prairie in 1994. Their service has always been very professional, prompt and thorough. I cannot think of one time that something has been mistaken in those 22 years, and that is an incredible feat in itself.

I have had clients go to MCS for private cremations personally and have had nothing but compliments on service, and comfort that their pet was well taken care of. I have personally taken my pets there for cremation and have never been treated as a client, but always as a loving pet parent. When the owner gives you a hug because he knows you are having a bad day that says something about the company.

I have toured their facilities and they are always spotless. I have taken pets to MCS with last minute notice, and the facilities are still in the same spotless manner. Their route trucks are always clean and their service people are always polite. They treat the deceased patients as someone’s pet rather than just another dog or cat. I have been pursued by other cremation companies and have never given thought to switching to another company.

MCS is a multi-generation family run business. They take pride in the job they are doing. I never have a second thought about someone’s pet not being well taken care of. I would recommend MCS to anyone who is looking for a professional and caring cremation service.

I encourage all veterinarians to stop in for a tour of their facility.

I have known the Blossers for over 30 years and have used their cremation service exclusively since I started Oconomowoc Animal Hospital. I have found their service to be efficient, reputable and sensitive to my clients needs. I encourage all veterinarians to stop in for a tour of their facility in Poynette. You will find the facility to be immaculately clean and very efficient. I find some clients need to take advantage of their priority service for peace of mind which I offer without reservation.

Their compassion and empathy is evident and very important when dealing with the loss of a pet.

I have toured their facility; they are very professional in the way they handle everything from start to finish.

I would highly recommend Midwest Cremation Service for cremation services. I have toured their facility; they are very professional in the way they handle everything from start to finish. The facility is very neat and clean. We have used their services for many years; they go above and beyond for you. Other cremation services have tried to get our business, their costs may be a little less, they may be closer to us, but I feel we get very timely service now, and if you have a special request they have always come through for us. You don’t mind paying a little more for excellent service. Why would you want to go somewhere else?

From the moment our client’s best friend is picked up until those same remains, as ashes, are returned, their entire staff is devoted to providing the best care.

Midwest Cremation Service has been our provider for pet cremations for over 15 years and we have never been disappointed with their service. They show such compassion in their work. From the moment our client’s best friend is picked up until those same remains, as ashes, are returned, their entire staff is devoted to providing the best care. Everyone is extremely friendly and cooperative and no reasonable request is ever refused.

I have personally toured their facility and was very impressed with the cleanliness, attention to detail, and state of the art facilities available.
