Delphi

Delphi was my 1st horse, my heart horse that I rescued when I was 65. I won the lottery when she found me. Always, would meet you at the fence, no buck, no rear, great for the ferrier and loved the trails. When she slipped into the canter it was like riding a low hung sports car. Our last trail ride was one of my favorite rides and I’m forever grateful. It’s not goodbye Delphi, Delphi Do, Baby Girl. Run free my sweet girl and let the wind carry us until we meet again. Forever in “My Heart” Delphi was a registered Akhal-Teke Sport Horse and was sired by Senetir. The Akhal-Teke breed originated in Turkmenistan and was first introduced to the USA when Phil and Margot Case, both deceased imported the first breeding Stallion Senetir. The Akhal-Tekes are listed on the rare breed list and the Akhal-Teke Foundation in VA carries on the Cases’ dream for the preservation of the breed.
